Clipping service for brands

Turn the video your brand already has into short clips posted by independent creators on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. You set the brief, and you pay for verified views.

Seenfold is a clipping service for brands that want reach without an agency retainer. You choose how many views you want a month, send the video your brand already has, and write a short brief. Independent creators cut it into short clips and post them from their own accounts on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, at $1.50 per 1,000 verified views on 1 month and $1.05 on 6 months.

This page is for marketing leads and brand teams weighing clipping against paid social and influencer deals. It covers the footage that works, how to keep clips on brand, disclosure, what a campaign looks like week by week, what it costs, and how to measure it.

What clipping does for a brand

A clipping campaign takes long video and turns it into many short posts, each shown by the platform to people it thinks will watch. The posts live on creators' accounts, which already have audiences, rather than on your brand page or in an ad slot. To a viewer they look like any other video in the feed.

That is the difference from paid social. An ad is priced per impression, which counts a post that appeared on screen whether or not anyone watched it. A clip is priced per view, counted by the platform on a real post. It is also different from influencer marketing: you are not paying one person to make a new video about you, you are paying for many creators to distribute moments from video you already made. The comparison is laid out in clipping vs paid ads and clipping vs UGC.

The footage your brand already has

Clipping runs on long video with people talking on camera. Most brands have more of it than they think.

  • Founder and executive interviews. Podcast appearances, press interviews and fireside chats. A clear opinion from the person behind the brand clips well. If another show recorded it, check you have permission to use it.
  • Product demos and walkthroughs. The moment a product does something surprising is a clip on its own.
  • Webinars, keynotes and event talks. An hour on stage often holds several clean, self-contained points.
  • Your own show or livestreams. A brand podcast, a weekly live session, a behind-the-scenes series.

Polished ads rarely make good clips. Feeds reward video that feels like the feed, and a finished commercial reads as an ad however it is posted. Send raw, long recordings and let creators find the moments.

Brand safety starts with the brief

You set the brief, and creators are required to follow it. Keep it short and specific:

  • What every caption carries. Your handle, a product name, or a link.
  • What is off limits. Topics, claims, competitors, segments of the footage, or anything your legal team has flagged.
  • How clips should represent the brand. Tone, what not to joke about, and who in the footage should or should not appear.

Your logo on every clip is an add-on at $0.30 per 1,000 views, so the brand is visible even to a viewer who never reads the caption. If a clip still misses, report it from your dashboard and we will have the creator take it down. Views it earned before it came down still count, unless the creator broke your brief. You are responsible for the content you send and the brief you write, so make sure the footage is yours to use.

Disclosure: clips are paid promotion

Because creators are paid to post your content, the clips are advertising, and viewers need to be able to tell. Creators disclose the paid relationship wherever the law, such as the FTC's endorsement rules, or the platform's branded content rules require it. For a brand this protects the campaign: disclosed posts keep you in good standing with the platforms and with your own legal team. More on this in clipping campaigns for brands.

What a brand campaign looks like, week by week

Day one: plan, pay, brief

Choose your views a month, your term and any add-ons, then pay by card. The exact monthly total is shown before you pay. After payment, send your footage as links or uploads on your dashboard, with your brief.

The first week: review and first clips

A person reviews your brief and footage before delivery begins. We aim to do that within one business day, and either accept it or tell you what needs changing. Once accepted, creators start cutting and posting, and every clip appears on your dashboard with its creator, its link and its views.

The rest of the month: clips go up as they are made

Views build across the 30 days rather than landing on the first day. Add new footage as you have it, such as a new demo, a launch video or a conference talk, so the clips stay current.

Day 30: delivered against plan

Your dashboard shows views delivered against the plan. A month that comes up short rolls the shortfall into the next month, and anything still undelivered when your plan ends is refunded to your card.

What clipping costs for a brand

The rate per 1,000 verified views is $1.50 on 1 month, $1.27 on 3 months and $1.05 on 6 months, with a minimum of 500,000 views a month. Add-ons are priced per 1,000 views on top: $0.30 for your logo on every clip and $0.40 for a Tier 1 audience preference, which favors creators whose audiences are mostly in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. It is a preference, not a guarantee of where viewers are.

PlanRate per 1,000Monthly cost
500,000 views on 1 month$1.50$750
500,000 views on 1 month, with logo$1.80$900
500,000 views a month on 6 months, with logo$1.35$675
1,000,000 views a month on 3 months, with logo and Tier 1$1.97$1,970

Billing is monthly by card through Stripe, and there is no retainer. Managed clipping agencies usually quote a monthly retainer after a sales call; here a brand can run one month at a published rate and decide on the results. The full rate card is on the pricing page.

How to measure it

Views are counted from the view counts TikTok, Instagram and YouTube show, only on clips made and posted for your campaign. Fake views, such as views from bots or view farms, are not allowed and can be excluded. You can open every clip from the dashboard and check its count yourself.

To judge the campaign against your other channels, set a baseline before it starts and watch:

  • Cost per 1,000 views against the cost per 1,000 impressions you pay on paid social, keeping in mind that an impression is not a view.
  • Branded search for your name and product.
  • Visits and signups from the link or code in the captions.
  • Followers on your own brand accounts.

Startups using clipping around a launch have their own playbook on the startup clipping page.
