Method

Where the numbers come from. Market figures are counted from the Clipping Rate Index, which records only rates a seller publishes on its own pages or a named publication reports, each with a source link and a check date. Seenfold's figures are its published rate card and the figures on its homepage. Search figures are a Google Keyword Planner pull for the United States on 18 September 2026.

What is left out, and why. There is no median or average buyer rate on this page. Of the 4 buyer figures published per 1,000 views, only 1 is a fixed rate: the others are tier averages, a calculator range and an illustrative estimator, so a median across them would be a number no seller charges. The median minimum is computed only across the 5 minimums published in dollars, because a minimum set in views is not the same unit.

How often it is updated. With the Clipping Rate Index, monthly. When an index figure changes, the statistic built on it changes in the same update. If a figure here is wrong, tell us through contact and it will be fixed.

Questions

What is the average clipping rate per 1,000 views?

There is no honest market average, because most sellers publish a range or an estimate rather than a rate. As of September 2026, published buyer figures run from under $0.85 per 1,000 views at a $250,000 managed commitment to $4 on an illustrative agency estimator, and Seenfold's self-serve rate is $1.05 to $1.50 by term. Creators are paid $1 to $5 per 1,000 views on the published figures.

Of the 8 providers in the Clipping Rate Index, 6 publish a minimum. Across the 5 that state it in dollars, the median minimum is $5,000, from $1,000 at Vyro to $15,000 at Clipping Culture, as of 17 September 2026. Seenfold's minimum is 500,000 views a month, $750 on a 1 month plan, and Whop Content Rewards says it has no minimum.

How many clipping agencies require a sales call?

4 of the 8 providers in the Clipping Rate Index require a sales call before giving a price, and all 4 are managed agencies or creator networks. Self-serve services and marketplaces let you buy or set up a campaign without one.
