Transparency & Disclosure

Last updated July 28, 2026

Funding attention only works if you can trust where your money goes and what it buys. This page explains exactly how that works: how your payment is handled, how views are counted, how you are refunded, and what stays on the public record.

1. Our promise

When you fund a Market, you are buying one thing: real human attention, measured in views of short videos about the topic you funded. Three rules protect you:

  • Delivered or refunded. If we have not delivered the views you paid for within 30 days of your purchase, the shortfall comes back to you.
  • You pay for new attention. We count the views the videos made for your Market actually earn, not reach that already existed.
  • Made by real creators. Real people with real audiences make the videos, in their own voice.

2. How payment works

Your card is charged when you fund a Market. Payments run through Stripe, and Verge Clips, Inc. is the merchant of record.

What protects you is the refund in Section 4: if the views do not arrive within 30 days, the undelivered portion comes back to you. We pay creators out of what we collect, and we earn our fee on attention that is actually delivered, which keeps our incentive pointed at real reach rather than at simply collecting contributions.

3. What counts as a view

We count views earned by the videos posted for your Market, measured from the moment each video goes up. A video that already had a million views does not get to sell you that million. The clips are made for the Market, so the attention they earn is new by construction.

We measure from the public counters and official APIs of the platforms where clips are posted (TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube). Where a platform reports only a subset of engagement, we count what it reports and never estimate in our own favor. Platforms sometimes restate their own numbers, and when they do, our counts follow theirs. You can see delivery progress against the views you funded on your dashboard.

4. Delivery and refunds

The commitment is simple and it is the one that matters: if we have not delivered the views your contribution paid for within 30 days of your purchase, we refund the undelivered portion to your original payment method. There is no claim to file and no form to fill out. Refunds are issued through Stripe and may take a few extra days to appear depending on your bank or card issuer.

Clips go out as they are made and approved, and reach builds over the delivery window rather than landing all at once on day one.

Because attention cannot be un-delivered, views that have already been delivered are not refundable. You are only ever charged for what actually reached real people.

5. Creative independence

The videos are made by independent creators in their own voice, for their own audiences. We give them the Market and its brief. We do not script them, and we do not tell them what to think about it.

Creators are responsible for following the rules of the platforms they post on and any disclosure requirements that apply to them. Political and advocacy Markets carry additional requirements, set out in our Content Policy.

We do not publish Markets whose purpose is to deceive, and we do not amplify a topic that is not real. What a Market is about is always something you can check.

6. Public and private backing

Backers choose how they appear. You can back a Market publicly, showing your name or handle, or privately, in which case your contribution still counts toward the Market's totals but your identity is not shown. Either way, the aggregate numbers stay honest.

7. Where Markets come from

Markets on this site are created or approved by Seenfold. They are not published by users on their own. Anyone can suggest a topic to us. A suggestion is not a Market, we review what we can, and we are not obliged to publish any of it. Every Market you see has been reviewed against our Content Policy before going live.

Organizations that want to run their own private campaign rather than back a public Market do that through a separate arrangement, on the same rate and the same 30-day refund commitment.

8. How creators are paid

The videos are made by independent creators, not by Seenfold. They are paid for the views they deliver, at rates set on the platform. Creators are not employees or spokespeople of Seenfold, and the opinions in a clip belong to the creator and the Market, not to us.

Creators must follow both our Content Policy and the rules of the platforms they post on.

9. Anti-fraud

We actively police manipulation. Fake views, bots, view farms, and any attempt to game measurement are grounds for reversing delivery, withholding payout, and closing accounts.

10. What Seenfold is not

Seenfold is a way to buy attention for a topic. It is not an investment, and it is important to be precise about that. Backers receive no financial return, no profit, no dividend, and nothing to resell. A Market is not a security, not a share, and not a stake in anything.

Seenfold is also not a prediction market and not gambling. Nothing here is a wager and no outcome pays out money. Seenfold is not a bank or money transmitter. You are purchasing a service, delivered as real views, on terms set out in our Terms of Service.

11. Questions and reports

If a Market looks wrong, if a disclosure is missing, or if you believe views were not delivered as promised, tell us and we will look into it. Write to hello@vergeclips.com. Seenfold is operated by Verge Clips, Inc. For the full legal terms, see our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
