Compare
Seenfold vs OpusClip
These two are not really competitors, and the honest comparison starts by saying so. OpusClip is software: an AI clipping tool you operate yourself, on a monthly subscription, that cuts your long video into shorts and can post them to your own accounts. Seenfold is distribution: you buy verified views a month, and independent creators clip your footage and post it from their own accounts. One makes clips. The other gets clips seen.
People search for an OpusClip alternative for two reasons: they want a different editing tool, or they have clips already and what they want is an audience. This page is for the second group, and everything below comes from OpusClip's own public pages.

What OpusClip does
OpusClip's home page puts it in one line: "OpusClip turns long videos into high-quality viral clips, and publishes them to all social platforms in one click." It says it is "Used by 16M+ creators and businesses". The feature list is an editing suite: AI clipping with a virality score, animated captions in 20+ languages, AI reframing, brand templates, AI b-roll, filler removal, a social scheduler and export to Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
Its pricing page shows a free plan, Starter at $15 a month, Pro at $29 a month billed monthly, and Business for organisations. Starter includes 150 credits a month, AI clipping with virality score, animated captions, "Auto post to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, IG Reels, or download", one brand template and watermark removal. Pro adds a team workspace, AI b-roll, multiple aspect ratios and the scheduler, and shows $14.50 a month, $174 billed annually, for 3,600 credits a year. With either, you or your editor pick the moments and approve what goes out, which is more control over every frame than a brief gives you.
Everything in that list is something you or your team does, and the clips go out on your accounts, to the audience you already have. For a lot of teams that is the right first purchase.
What Seenfold does
Seenfold is self-serve clipping distribution with a published rate card. You choose the views you want a month, from 500,000 up, and a term of 1, 3 or 6 months: $1.50 per 1,000 verified views on 1 month, $1.27 on 3 months and $1.05 on 6 months, billed monthly by card. Plans renew for a new term of the same length at the same rate, unless Seenfold emails a new rate at least 30 days before the term ends. A Tier 1 audience preference (audiences mostly in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia; a preference, not a guarantee) adds $0.40 per 1,000, and your logo on every clip adds $0.30.
You pay, upload your footage and write a short brief: what goes in every caption, and what is off limits. Independent creators clip it and post it from their own accounts on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, so the clips reach their audiences rather than only yours. Every clip, its creator, its link and its views show on your dashboard, and any clip can be taken down from a button on that clip. See the full pricing.
Where they differ
Whose audience sees the clip
This is the whole difference. A clip made in OpusClip and posted from your account reaches your followers and whoever the algorithm sends it to. A clip posted by a Seenfold creator reaches that creator's audience, and many are posting at once. If your account is already large, a tool may be all you need. If it is small, better clips on a small account are still clips on a small account.
What you pay for
OpusClip charges for software: $15 a month on Starter, $29 a month on Pro, with a free plan. Seenfold charges for delivered views: from $750 a month at the 500,000 view minimum, with 30 days a month to deliver, shortfalls rolling forward, and anything undelivered at the end refunded. They are not alternatives on price, because they are not selling the same unit.
They work well together
Plenty of teams use both. Cut your own clips with a tool to find out which moments land, then use the ones that work as the footage for a campaign that puts them in front of other people's audiences. For the longer version, read AI clipping tools vs clipping campaigns.
When OpusClip is the better choice
- You need clips, not reach. If the bottleneck is editing time, a tool solves it directly.
- Your own accounts already have an audience. Posting more, better clips to them is the cheapest win there is.
- Your budget is small. It has a free plan, and paid plans start at $15 a month.
- You want control over every clip, and your own posting schedule. You choose the moments, the captions and the crop; Pro exports to Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and the scheduler is built in.
When Seenfold is the better choice
- You have the clips and nobody is watching them. Distribution, not editing, is the missing piece, and creators post to audiences you do not own.
- You want views as the unit you buy. The price per 1,000 verified views is published, and delivery has a clock and a refund attached.
- Nobody has hours to edit, or you are comparing this with paid ads. A tool still needs an operator, and bought views sit next to a media plan more easily.

Questions
Is Seenfold an alternative to OpusClip?
Only if what you want is reach. OpusClip is an AI editing tool you run yourself, on a subscription, and it is good at what it does. Seenfold pays independent creators to clip your footage and post it on their own accounts, priced by the verified view. If you want a different editing tool, Seenfold is not it.
What does OpusClip cost?
Its pricing page shows a free plan, Starter at $15 a month with 150 credits, Pro at $29 a month billed monthly (or $174 billed annually for 3,600 credits a year), and a Business plan for organisations.
What does Seenfold cost?
$1.50 per 1,000 verified views on a 1 month plan, $1.27 on 3 months and $1.05 on 6 months, billed monthly, from 500,000 views a month. That is $750 a month on 1 month. See the rates.
Can I use both?
Yes, and many teams do. Cut clips with a tool for your own channels to learn which moments land, then use the footage that works in a campaign that puts it in front of other people's audiences.
Does Seenfold post clips to my own accounts?
No. Seenfold's clips are posted by independent creators on their own accounts on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Every clip and its views appear on your dashboard, and any clip can be taken down from there.
